The Governor got acquainted with the preparations for the opening of the production and warehouse complex of FLEX FILMS RUS LLC. The company is engaged in the production of BOPET-film, which is used in food products, it is a resident of the Stupino Quadrat SEZ. The plant was built in the shortest possible time. The first line has already started working in test mode, 160 jobs have been created. It is planned to produce about 30 thousand tons of film per year. Investments — 5 billion rubles. With the launch of the second line in 2024, additional vacancies will be opened.

FLEX FILMS RUS is the first enterprise in Russia of the Uflex group of companies from India, which supplies its products to more than 140 countries. The plant operates its own energy center, natural gas is used as fuel, which reduces the need for electricity in half. The technology used in the manufacture of films provides for waste-free production.

“Our line in Stupino is completely ready to produce BOPET-film. We are also developing a technology to produce a biodegradable film that decomposes in about 200 days,” said the CEO Junaid Khan. — In addition, we also produce barrier film, which is in great demand. It is used for packaging meat and dairy products».
