The first stone of the new innovation logistics center AUCHAN Yuzhnye Vrata was laid

In the end of September 2017 the first stone of the new innovation logistics center AUCHAN Yuzhnye Vrata was laid. Under the design, this federal project will be located on the area of 45 ha in the Domodedovo town district. The project will consist of four warehouses for different types of products. The heads of Auchan Retail Russia and Radius Group – the last one is a present leading developer of A-category warehouse real estate – took part in the ceremony. The General Contractor for this project is MEGA-STROY-M, LLC that has been closely cooperating with Radius Group since 2008. A significant project of the Russian retail Start of construction is an important event for the domestic retail and logistics market. Commissioning of the Moscow region’s largest warehouse center will change the logistics traffic of one of the main market players. Consequently, this might change the situation overall the food market. The General Contractor for this project is MEGA-STROY-M, and it has already built over 500 thousand sq.m. in Yuzhnye Vrata location. The company will deliver construction of the large warehouse center using the latest BIM technologies. The modern platform Radius InSite is one of them. It will have to implement strict control over time and budget of the logistics project. It will allow reacting fast on any changes during implementation of the project by introducing timely corrections. Along with warehouse areas, the center will comprise offices, a canteen and other infrastructure facilities. On completion of construction, the warehouse complex will become one of the most energy efficient projects of the domestic industrial market. It will take a decent place among the most innovative logistics centers of Russia.
